We have lost some key members of the reunion crew over the past few years, but this year

we took a major broadside with the passing of Gene Pierce, the guy who got it all going.

We will miss his joy of comraderie, his abiding faith, his musical talent and his smile.

He was a major component of the glue that has held us together, and kept us coming back again

and again for so many years.  We all feel blessed and very grateful for having shared time with Gene.

Fair winds and following seas Gene.  We will see you on the other side, where no doubt,

you have already organized larger reunions than we can muster on this side.
